This position will manage developers, providing day-to-day supervision of all technical resources and reporting to the Project Manager. In accordance with Project Management Office policies and the standards published by the Project Management Institute, the Data Integration Lead will be responsible for:

· Managing data integration developers.

· Executing all Java/J2EE coding to meet business requirements and in accordance with industry best practices, standards, and Citywide security policies.

· Providing technical expertise, estimates, and recommendations to project managers.

· Participating in requirements discussions and meetings as necessary.

· Ensuring that technical team deadlines are met and target dates are re-baselined as necessary.

· Documenting technical risks and issues, and actively working to avoid/mitigate/resolve extent risks.

· A minimum of 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development building large-scale enterprise web applications;

· Extensive experience with Spring and Hibernate.

· Strong Experience in MVC and using other design patterns.

· Strong knowledge of data integration technologies and processes;

· Experience with formal SDLCs and development methodologies.

· Experience with Oracle WebLogic 10.x+ or similar application server.

· Experience working with Oracle Web Center Suite or a similar Portal.

· Experience with Ant.

· Experience with testing tools and techniques such as JUnit and continuous integration.

· Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript and CSS.

· Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices.

· Must be a team player. Must take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made.

· Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.

· Must have experience with Subversion or CVS.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders;

· Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources;

· Solid Experience with relational databases preferably Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server;

· Solid experience in XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD);

· Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques;

· Must be able to provide documentation on their work.
