POSITION SUMMARY:

A major insurance company is on a journey to digitally enable and connect its external sales team and internal business areas through the deployment of solutions on the Salesforce platform. We are seeking a Salesforce business analyst with experience in all phases of a project's lifecycle (waterfall & agile) to join a growing, fast-paced team focused on the delivery of state-of-the-art solutions that enable its businesses and addresses business problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, marketing automation, financial services and Agile Scrum project execution. The candidate will be responsible for soliciting and documenting user stories and business requirements, understanding of technical dependencies, and helping to envision creative solutions to both business and technical challenges. The candidate must be team-oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Seasoned individual capable of handling broad scope projects that could have a short to long term focus
  • Works with guidance on more complex projects
  • Works very closely with both business product owners and technical stakeholders
  • Looks for and finds ways to improve the way we operate
  • Documents requirements (functional & non-functional) and creates user stories, diagrams, workflows and/or use cases
  • Analyzes and decompose business processes and rules
  • Assists other team members with understanding the business requirements
  • Operates independently on multiple project tasks
  • Participates / supports in all phases of project testing
  • Leads business analysis across multiple parallel initiatives
  • Facilitates and drives requirements gathering sessions
  • Collaborates with business and systems experts
  • Leads analysis of business processes, procedures, data and rules
  • Negotiates and influences requirements direction

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis experience, or equivalent
  • 1 year of Salesforce experience
  • Agile / Scrum project experience
  • Experience with drafting business requirements and user stories
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work on multiple different assignments at once
  • Ability to own and drive the business analysis of a project
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7+ years of Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis experience
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Insurance and/or financial services industry experience
  • Marketing automation experience (Client Acquisition, Campaign Management, Leads Management, ...)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot experience
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Service Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Lightning experience
  • Salesforce Communities experience
  • Salesforce administrator certification
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform Application Developer, ...)
  • Perform requirement management planning for large scale projects
  • Testing skills / experience
  • Ability to mentor other less seasoned analysts
