Role Description:
The Storage Architect, as a member of the ITI Operations team, is responsible for the design and implementation of complex Enterprise NetApp storage solutions for MBUSA and affiliate customers. Considered a NetApp Technical Expert in multiple areas with a comprehensive understanding of NetApp entire portfolio.

This includes participating in storage solution scoping and proposal creation processes, and working with the line of business owners, engineers, project managers, manufacturers, vendors and distributors to fulfill role and responsibilities, in addition to interfacing with clients and their vendors. Day to day support of all incidents/requests

Role Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical and consultative services for Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment.
Create high level and low level design specifications for support of new and/or existing systems.
Provide technical leadership throughout all phases of the implementation and life-cycle management.
Ability to create and follow standard engineering principles and practices solution presentation to engineering and unto Cu level resources Develop strategies, policies and best NAS practice through participation in team meetings and through other direct contributions. Develop and cultivate strong end-user/departmental relationships.
Support Unix Manager and Program/Project Managers in the design and development of the technical content as defined in the project plan. Prepare technical architectural and implementation design documents and works with the management to develop the implementation plan. Help to identify and leverage vendor resources in order to satisfy the technical needs and objectives of the implementation.
Perform NAS and SAN system administrator duties, and provide troubleshooting/support services as required.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment.
Creative approach to problem solving.
Familiar NetApp Storage/virtualization/Cloud/DevOps.
Train internal resources on Hybrid IT trends and consulting approaches.
Migrate existing complex legacy storage to Clustered ontap

Desired Degrees or Certifications:
NCDA or Equivalent experience
NCIE or Equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (5 years advanced NetApp)
