Process Design Consultant

Job Description:

Must be able to draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to the big picture by considering business objectives in identifying process improvements. Shall possess the ability to structure a large amount of information within a process framework. Be able to find the best way to design new processes and solve process-related problems.

A good candidate will typically have a strong analytical background, be a problem solver and have excellent diagramming and communication skills. A proven ability to run workshops and meetings as the role involves dealing with clients and other business areas. Must have a good way of dealing with clients, selling ideas to them and delivering excellent customer service. Role that is perfectly suited to someone with a wide range of different skills.

Other skills that will come in useful in this job include statistical/data analysis skills.

Skills and Experience

• An experienced coach, who is able to get the best from stakeholders, empowering them to think for themselves
• Able to impart the value of managing process well and providing individuals with the tools and techniques required

Technical skills
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification.
• BPM Certification (AIIM BPM Certificate, Certification from, ABPMP's Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP®))
• BA Certification (CBAP/CCBA, BCS BA Certification, PMI-PBA, etc.)
• Oracle BPA (BT Bronze)
• Experience in BPMN method

• Excellent communications skills – will communicate clearly, effectively, assertively and professionally with the business and sponsors at the all levels
• Experience of presentations as well as workshop facilitation is necessary
• Treats managers as internal customers; presents work for review by SE leadership team or MCS leadership team as appropriate
• Communicates clearly and concisely; presents complex issues in an easy-to-understand way

Key skills
• Experience in BPMN modelling
• Experience in designing process frameworks and driving change through process adoption
• Experience of eliciting and building requirements and specification documentation
• Experience of Lean and Agile
• Proven experience in senior stakeholder management
