Global Firm located in New York, NY has an immediate Full Time opportunity for an experienced IT Trainer

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct group training sessions in classroom-based setting, as well as via Web Meeting
  • Conduct one-on-one trainings
  • Work in close partnership with the training manager, project managers and I.T. teams to design, develop, and implement blended learning solutions
  • Conduct training needs analyses and gap assessments, analyze performance problems, and execute training solutions
  • Develop e-learning modules using rapid e-learning software; Develop and maintain micro-learning training solutions including, but not limited to: outlines, manuals, quick reference cards, quick-start guides, videos and tips
  • Create and distribute Firm communications related to technology announcements and training
  • Assist with any additional training projects as assigned by the training manager
  • Administer training classes and reporting using the Information Services LMS
  • Research and provide support to technology training development through training vendor companies
  • Bachelors' degree with 6 years related experience in a business environment preferably in legal or banking industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to and champion change
  • Strong work ethic and drive to seek solutions
  • Background in adult learning as well as knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, FileSite, or similar document management system
  • Experience developing e-learning using rapid e-learning software, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate preferred
  • Experience conducting systems training to audiences in instructor-led/classroom style, webinar, and remote environments
  • Experience in project management
  • Innovative, creative, and flexible attitude and approach to training
  • Ability to build credibility with lawyers, end users and present effectively to senior management
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally on occasion
