Reporting Analyst/Data Developer - Banking

Location: Tampa, Florida
- Act as a Reporting Analyst/Data Developer to support various Tax Information Reporting functions related to banking and investment financial products;
- Leverage End User Computing products to execute critical analysis and processing functions related to Tax Information Reporting;
- Assist a large global team of tax professionals with functional migrations of work into our centralized hub by reviewing existing and developing new End User Computing tools;
- Work in a team to support business partners in various Tax information Reporting functions
- Develop both technical and end-user documents related to End User Computing tools;
- Support FRO's Service Delivery / Engagement model with client constituency and other key stakeholders;
- Identify and participate in process reengineering and redesign to achieve better controls, compliance and efficiency;
- Support internal and IRS audits, as well as any other special audits
- Participate in self-assessment testing, MCA and SOX controls
- Ensure tight controls over owned processes to include key controls and Continuity of Business

- Advanced skills in Visual Basic development an absolute must
- Expert level of proficiency in Excel, Access
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook required;
- Strong organizational skills a must;

Preffered Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of U.S. Tax Information Reporting requirements preferred but not required. No tax experience will not be a deal breaker.
- Project Management experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders;
- Ability to examine processes and procedures, experience with Process Re-engineering, Re-design and Process Automation is preferred;
- Ability to act as a change agent for organizational and product transformational initiatives;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while driving results in compressed timeframes;
- Ensure tight controls over owned processes to include key controls and Continuity of Business
