Service Desk Technician

Our information Technology team is seeking a talented Helpdesk Technician to support our employees in Phoenix, Sunnyvale and Boston. You will provide support over the phone using remote tools while also performing hands-on support and system deployment for users in our Sunnyvale office. You will also triage and route tickets while escalating important issues to other teams as needed. As the initial point of contact for the most IT customers this is a highly visible position, so you'll need excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide phone and hands-on support to employees
  • Prioritize service requests and assign support tickets as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot and identify network & server related problems for handoff
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of professional Helpdesk experience
  • College degree of equivalent work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Experience providing software and hardware support
  • Experience in a Windows Active Directory environment
  • Experience w/ MS Exchange 2010+
  • Experience with Windows Service
Required Technical Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 7
  • Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge
  • Microsoft Outlook w/ Exchange
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Lync, Good, iOS, and Android a plus
