.Net/C# Developer

The Applications Developer will program web-based custom solutions that meet requirements from various teams in the Firm. He/she will have proven experience in all aspects of web development and applications integration projects and familiarity with latest technologies and market trends. He/she will serve as a subject matter expert for all web interface and development related topics. The Applications Developer is responsible for the maintenance of existing Firm custom applications and SharePoint environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design and develop interactive modern designs using front-end frameworks such as Angular and/or React.
  • Develop high volume, highly scalable server-side features utilizing Windows Server, SQL server, IIS, .NET, and C#.
  • Develop production-ready application features end-to-end in accordance with coding standards.
  • Modify and maintain applications to include implementation, revisions, bug-fixes, and continued operations of same.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation on implementation and continuing operation of applications.
  • Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Manage and support software applications through deployment and long-term operational support.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolution of end-user and application issues.
  • Perform product analysis, quality assurance, and maintenance of existing applications and support.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams and Firm departments to obtain requirements and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Perform system administration and updates as required for existing applications including SharePoint.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related area.
  • 5+ years of professional experience using .NET technologies with an emphasis on C#, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, Java script.
  • Experience with .NET, IIS, and SQL Server.
  • Intermediate knowledge of client-side scripting – Java script, Angular/React JS, HTML, CSS, Jquery.
  • Experience with agile practices such as pair programming, TDD, story planning, etc.
  • Must be versatile and have a readiness to tackle new challenges.
  • Exposure or expertise in big data, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, or other specialized technologies.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal skills including: exceptional customer service, creative problem solving, effective written and verbal communications, acute attention to detail and quality, driven with the ability to self-manage.
  • Experience coordinating cross functional teams.
  • Broad systems thinking: understands the connections and relationships across functions and entities for both internal and external constituencies.
  • Expert troubleshooting skills of complex technical end user device issues in large distributed environment.
  • Track record of excellent quality assurance and documentation skills.
  • Law Firm experience desirable.
  • Must be flexible to all aspects of service delivery including periodic after-hours support and travel to client other national offices, outside of New York.
  • Ability to work overtime, evenings and weekends.
