ServiceNow Technical Architect

ServiceNow Technical Architect: This role will support the development of the solution architecture for ServiceNow project. Working closely with Solution Architect, the resource will provide best practice solution advisory services for finalizing the ServiceNow technical and integration architecture, support the development of the implementation strategy and plan, help the City finalize the implementation team roles and responsibilities, and work with the City to develop the on-going support strategy, plan and team.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

· Participate in discussions to understand the business goals and guide the architecture of ServiceNow ITSM modules.

· Share best practices throughout the technical design of the project.

· Assist in the creation of the necessary technical design documents to efficiently implement in-scope ServiceNow functionality, including, but not limited to: Incident/Problem/Change Management/Asset Management

· Assist the City with the development of the ServiceNow Implementation Strategy, Plan, Roles and Responsibilities

· Work with DoITT leadership to develop the ServiceNow Support Strategy, Plan, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of, and deep experience with, ServiceNow ITSM modules, processes, data models and migration strategies.
  • Proven ability to design an efficient approach for security, access rights, performance, scalability and maintenance of ServiceNow ITSM capabilities and objects.
  • Proven approach to choosing the right ServiceNow classes, levels, attributes and relationships
  • Expertise in auto-discovery and population of Asset Management and Configuration Management (CMDB) repositories without data duplication.
  • Proven ability to maximize the use of out-of-box ServiceNow functionality on complex implementation projects
  • Experience in web-based technologies and system integration methods
  • Experience in building out ServiceNow Implementation and Support Strategies, Plans and staffing models.

DESIREABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of Navvia Process Designer
