CMM Programmer: Layouts and Calibrations

Schedule: 6:00pm to 6:00am (Covering 2nd and 3rd shift)

Must Have: Programming capabilities in PCDMIS are required.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing layouts as required per layout request form, launch and current product and maintains calibration records for lab equipment.
1. Perform all layouts as required per Layout Request Form & customer requirements
2. Issue layout reports to requester upon completion of layout
3. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment, maintain Lab 5S, assure Gages received from other plants are in designated work area
4. Provide technical assistant in analysis and problem-solving of dimensional issues
5. Improve efficiency in layout performance
6. Maintain Gage Trak and keep all certification, calibration of Lab equipment and gages up-to-date
7. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
1. Business Operating System (BOS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related BOS requirements.
2. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function-related EHS requirements.
3 Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
4. Compliance: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements
5. Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.

Work Experience: Must possess strong Math skills focusing on trigonometry
Must be computer literate
Capable of operating CMM with complete understanding of the software utilized
Sound knowledge of the principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Ability to produce clear, legible layout reports Working knowledge of basic metrology principles

Pay Rate: $36 to $40 per hour
Drug and background screenings required
