Technical Writer (PHARMA) - QC Process & Documentation Assistant (P/T) Mon-Wed-Fri

Purpose and Scope

Key responsibilities will include quality duties outlined below and a variety of administrative or executive support tasks that may be confidential. They must determine accurately which are priority matters; able to constantly reprioritize. Establishes and maintains various hard copied and electronic filing and record keeping systems.

Pay: $18.50 PER HOUR

  1. Prepare SOPs and Technical documentation reports.
  2. Creation, update and archive Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Technical Instructions (TI)
  3. Coordinates aspects of technical documentation.
  4. Determine priority matters and reprioritize, if needed.
  5. Reviews, proofreads, and edits documents in timely manner.
  6. Operates standard office equipment.
  7. Performs related work as assigned.
  8. Reviews, proofreads, and edits documents in timely manner.
  9. Perform a variety of administrative or executive support tasks that are highly confidential and sensitive.

Education and Training
  1. Pharmaceutical, other scientific or healthcare background required
  2. Excellent proficiency in English, ability to proofread and edit technical documentation.
  3. 1 – 2 years' experience in writing SOPs
  4. QC documentation experience preferred
  5. Manufacturing experience preferred
  6. GMP
Technical Requirements
  1. Very strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word & Excel.
  2. Speed and accuracy are essential at all times, as well as memory and resourcefulness.
  3. The ability to observe equipment manuals and create an easy to follow procedural guide
  4. Experience with FDA Documentation is highly desirable
General Requirements
  1. Knowledge of administrative office protocols; SOP's, filing, clerical, communications, set up.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills, teachable.
  3. Able to assume and fully complete tasks without supervision.
  4. Must be comfortable with only working 24 hours per week
