Duration:  1 YEAR

Work Schedule:  40+ Hours Weekly
Pay Rate:  $90 - $100 Hourly

The IT Business Analyst position is part of the Global Services – Information Technology team focused on leading & delivering solutions in Finance.
  • Leads Business Analysis across multiple IT teams, with primary focus in SAP ECC and includes leadership of: Requirements Management, Design, Implementation, Deployment, and process continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Process, and Operations leaders to establish and improve process standardization & simplification while leveraging existing and new technologies
  • Oversight of Project Planning and Execution, while reporting on project health, issues, risk and action resolution and mitigation.
  • Collaborate and Influence the overall solution design, architect and process & functional integration
The position will require collaboration with Finance stakeholders on the triage of new demand, moving demand through the Client governance and review processes, determining financial and resourcing requirements for demand and driving demand into scheduling.

Participates in a cross-functional team environment and partners with other organizations to deliver solutions in SAP ECC and in other Finance applications.

This position is accountable to:
  • The IT Business Analyst works with the Solution Delivery teams using the approved Client support methodology to ensure all assigned problem and change tickets are resolved by the assigned completion date. Provides appropriate documentation and maintains system integrity by following proper validation, testing and documentation to meet support requirements.
  • Provides leadership in coordinating development requests and acts as a point of contact to Finance, and various project teams across IT.
  • Provides leadership in coordinating Project and Production Support with Application Management Vendors
  • Provides technical leadership in the Finance community and assists in the alignment of business activities.
  • In partnership with the Solution Delivery organisation, manages enhancements, support packages and upgrade projects by working with end users in gathering detailed requirements, analyzing business processes, design, configuration, documentation and testing using Client's Global execution methodology.
  • Works with the Solution Delivery team to ensure that system problems and production support issues are addressed in a timely manner. Assists with the training of users on Finance business systems.
  • Act as a project leader on Finance Projects and as a point of contact for 3rd party vendors and Finance.
  • Ensures the integrity of relevant financial processes and S-Ox controls within the ECC system.
Required Skills
  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience within Information Technology with practical experience in the implementation and support of SAP ECC FI/CO modules
  • Working knowledge of Finance SAP processes and modules.
  • Good understanding and practical experience of the integration points between FI/CO and other core SAP modules like SD, MM and PP
  • Must exhibit a strong process management orientation and strong business orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (using Microsoft Office applications) and verbal are required for interaction with various levels of management and peers.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Six Sigma certification/ experience
  • Experience of working in a finance function with exposure to month end close, financial analysis, budgeting and/or forecasting activities
  • CA/CPA, MBA or Masters in technical/business relevant field of study.
  • SAP ECC 6.0 Certification in FI/CO
