PositionLaboratory Technicians
Duration: 9 Month Assignment

Purpose of Position:
With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research. Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.

Qualifications
  • Proven safety track record with commitment to zero incidents / injuries
  • Experience working with lab equipment and handling chemicals
  • Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
  • Demonstrated computer skills includes: learning new software packages, data analysis programs and process automation.
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • Ability to work in a clean room or laboratory, hands-on for 5-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to utilize knowledge acquired on the job to identify problems as they occur in the laboratory and make judgment when additional help is needed to solve the problem
  • Ability to work well independently, one-on-one with their supervisor, and as a member of a larger multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English language 

Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and optical characterization of OLED devices using computer controlled equipment such as spectrophotometers, multiplexing switches, source meters, and digital multi-meters
  • Setup lifetime measurements for OLED devices by assembling devices onto lifetest boards and loading into test racks with pre-determined test parameters
  • Remove OLED devices from lifetime measurement when completed
  • Operate a substrate cleaning tool within a clean room environment
  • Maintain a supply stock rooms for cleanroom lab
  • Operate a screen printer for printing OLED encapsulation lids
  • Accurately follow and maintain detailed records and electronic documentation systems
  • Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly safety inspections such as on safety showers, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers etc.
  • Participate in monthly team safety inspection activities
