Hiring a Contract Paralegal l
Client Location: Boca Raton, FL
Work Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $25.00/Hourly

Summary: Provides legal support to company and retained attorneys through review and analysis of data, additional investigation if needed, and coding legal issues. Responsible for various projects assigned by the Chief Litigation and Compliance Counsel and the Litigation Manager, including but not limited to discovery assistance and miscellaneous administrative tasks. Able to prioritize and meet project/case deadlines.
Education: Associate’s Degree or Paralegal Certification Required. Experience: "Hands-on” Legal writing (drafting declarations, affidavits, investigative timelines, or research memorandums, et.), Initial case or Legal issue assessment (investigative/fact gathering acuity or document review coding), Presentation of ideas and/or summaries to attorneys, Civil Discovery Responses, Customer service experience is preferred.
Skills: Multi-tasking including note-taking during in-person or on-phone discussion, Verbal and written communication, Presentation, and Interpersonal skills. Significant Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint).
Abilities: Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment. Able to prioritize a diverse and substantial workload and work effectively under deadlines and pressure. Must be detail-oriented and possess critical thinking and reasoning skills. 1. Communicate with customers and personnel located throughout North America in order to investigate and record concerns with industry sales practices; 2. Assist in collecting and entering data to support ongoing litigation, possibly interviewing potential witnesses, and drafting legal documents; 3. Coordinate with other departments to disseminate safety tips and raise awareness to customers; 4. Analyze and provide reports on customer concerns; 5. Assist the Chief Litigation and Compliance Counsel with legal matters related to a range of corporate legal issues. 6. Participates in and conducts other duties as assigned.
