Hiring a Contract O/M Generalist
Client Location:  Baltimore, MD
Work Schedule: 40 Hours Weekly
Hours: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
Pay Rate: $13.49/Hourly
Benefits: ACA Compliant Medical Insurance
 
REQUIREMENTS: 1. High School graduate or equivalent preferred. 2. Ability to read labels, directions, etc. 3. One to two years general maintenance experience required or one to two years as an O&M Generalist I. Under specific direction, performs non-technical tasks to maintain structures, equipment and grounds common to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract facility sites and structures.
 
PRINCIPLE DUTIES: 1. Assists in performing non-technical tasks such as painting, mowing, basic grounds keeping, building monitoring, etc. 2. Assists other workers with: running errands, i.e. retrieving supplies/materials for tasks, holding objects (materials requiring more than one person), cleaning up after completion of tasks, etc. 3. Must comply with work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested and completing work orders per instruction. 4. Moves furniture and equipment as assigned. 5. Loads or unloads material, parts or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors or trucks, manually or using a forklift or other material handling equipment. 6. Ensures all light fixtures are operational, change light bulbs as necessary. 7. Observes assigned area(s) for damage, etc., and reports to supervisor items needing attention: makes routine repairs and adjustments as requested. 8. May assist in inventory of materials for reference. 9. May perform routine security tours of buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates, to ensure they are properly secured. 10. May be required to perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: floor waxing, buffing, trash collection and removal. May operate and maintain heavy equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, waxing machines or grounds keeping equipment. 11. May be required to mix appropriate chemical(s) per manufacturer's specifications. 12. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards. 13. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. 14. Performs any other miscellaneous duties as requested.
