IT Help Desk Support Technician Needed

On-Board Services, a Family-Owned U.S. Based Professional Staffing and Search Firm, is in search for IT Help Desk Support Technician​ for Leading Chemical Fortune 500 Client in Wilmington, DE. These are new positions, and will be working on a 12 month contract, with possibility of extensions.

Client Location: Fortune 500 Company in WILMINGTON, DE 19805
Work Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM- Monday to Friday
Benefits: ACA Compliant Medical Insurance Position

PURPOSE OF POSITION 
Answers end user questions (or can direct users to the appropriate resources) regarding procedures, standards, and status from an infrastructure perspective. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to infrastructure processes or systems. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical certifications with 1-3 years of work experience focusing on the hardware and software aspects of network operations across a multiple LAN/WAN environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing effectively with internal and external customers
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work for efficiency
  • Attention to detail, ability to handle repetitive workload and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to deal with internal and external customers concerning problems or requests for information
  • Must demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ability to work with minimal supervision
