To support and assist the Head of Global Payroll Operations in leading these initiatives, Organization is seeking a results-oriented, hands-on, people oriented individual to join the team as Senior Consultant.
This position will be responsible for executing against the vision and strategic direction of the Global Payroll Manager and must be a subject matter expert, comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Job Duties
  • Analysis
    • US jurisdictional analysis for specific comp and benefits, specifically proper taxation routines
      • Impact analysis for any discoveries we may have in previous item
    • Employee analysis for proper tax profiles
      • Impact analysis for any discoveries we may have in previous item
    • Other as we do complete audit of payroll programming in Workday
  • Quarter reconciliations
    • Wages  Payments  Filings
  • Prior quarter payroll corrections
    • Validate all
    • Tax payment / filing confirmation
    • Amendments complete
  • Open Tracers
    • Resolution, follow-up
  • Recommend go forward support / monitoring process on all items above
  • Familiar with global, specifically EMEA, reporting requirements
    • Audit, reconciliations, processes where needed
  • Other
    • This would be anything in the payroll tax space, globally
  • US payroll tax regulations – Federal, State, Local
  • Global payroll tax regulations
  • Ability to translate our programs, policies to be in compliance with taxing jurisdictions
  • Familiar with tax filing requirements, forms
  • Workday reporting
  • SOC 1 reporting
