This is a new position, and will be working on a 3 month contract.

Work Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM- Monday to Friday

Purpose of Position:
Lead strategic project process management activities including the development and diagnosis of improvement opportunities using industry accepted process engineering principles. Support the development of a HR Shared Services Framework strategy design through associated research, analysis, discussions, and activities with key stakeholders, and supporting processes.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Complete assessments of business processes and document each of the following areas: problem statements, process flows, gap analyses, and solution recommendations
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate process development workshops with Workstream Leads, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions, evaluating and improving on policies and processes within HR that optimize Global HR functions by organizing, collecting, recording, and transcribing data; provide process and procedural documentation, clearly mapping process activities, decision points and integration with other processes and technology solutions (Workday, WalkMe)
  • Maintain process project schedules, create status reports and communicate/work with PMO
  • Perform all tracking activities such progress dashboard, document inventory, risk/issues related to assigned projects
  • Follow up on action items and incorporate into processes and procedures
  • Ensure assigned projects are completed on time
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws during process design
  • Support benchmark project activities including but not limited to analysis of current state, gap analysis and recommendations providing a clear picture of capability gaps that must be closed to realize the organization's HR Shared Services strategy and development of implementation roadmap
  • Act as back-up for PMO as needed for project management, tracking and reporting
  • Strong process mapping and business process reengineering skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively produce and analyze business processes and workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, network, and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change to achieve business results
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional teams to deliver process improvement
  • Strong understanding of Project Management principles (PMI)
  • Strong data gathering skills and ability to transfer knowledge to process artifacts
  • Expert level of competence with MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio and SharePoint
  • Ability to self-manage timelines and deliverables
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements from the client/business  
  • Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes  
  • Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research with conflicting and/or inaccurate data
  • Experience and ability to work independently and/or to lead process workshops
  • Possesses strong oral and written communications skills to clearly and effectively to produce documentation, reports, and presentations 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Team Lead or Project Lead experience a plus
  • Six Sigma experience or other process improvement methodology
  • Experience mapping Human Resources process activities, decision points and integration with other processes using industry based frameworks such as APQC, etc.
  • Development of project management methodology framework and supporting PMOs
