1. Accurately record, process, maintain and follow-up on orders and requests via phone, fax, email, EDI, and Sales staff in a prompt, professional and accurate manner. Ensure customer needs and internal reporting requirements are both satisfied.
 2. Serve as a communication link between Customers, Operations, Logistics, and Marketing and sales staff to assure responsiveness to customer needs. Expedite answers to customer pricing and product availability questions. 3. Obtain, record and submit customer complaints, concerns and issues for resolution.
4. Maintain customer specific requests (helpscreens) on an ongoing basis.
5. Maintain EDI communications, transactions and new set-up for new accounts as required. 
1. Minimum education required – Grade 12 Diploma – College diploma an asset
2. Proficient in English speaking, writing skills and fluent in French.
3. Customer Service Experience - minimum 3 years – or equivalent experience with external parties requiring composure under stress. A telephone personality that customers would find comfortable, consistent, and indicative of that “extra effort” to meet their needs.
 4. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in written form, in English as required. French skills would be a definite plus. Diplomatic and assertive when dealing with Customers, Sales and Operations to resolve issues.
5. Fundamental strong computer skills, with the ability and desire to learn new software applications as they are developed. Intermediate Excel 97 and Word 97 proficiency. EDI, SAP and other external-party software experience would be a definite plus.
