Contract Term: 3 Months (Contract to Hire)
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $23.15/hour
Screenings: Background and drug screening required prior to start date

Responsibilities:
  • The purpose of this position is to support and assist the space planning team. Maintains knowledge of current and future space needs and understanding of the business direction and changing workplace need. 
  • Tracks, monitors and oversees all related moves and space planning.
  • Develops and maintains tracking mechanisms for monthly reports.
  • Applies knowledge to forecast space requirements based on verified existing space information, forecasted space supply/demand and growth projections.
  • Provides metrics around current and future space needs.
  • Participates in conceptualizing and developing the migration plan.
  • Coordinates planning for moves, adds, and/or changes and delivers budgetary forecasting. Attends meetings with client representatives and facilitates discussion/programming of space requirements (headcount/growth, allocations, adjacencies, special support needs).
  • Provides metrics, collect, organizes and analyzes data related to client’s facility requirements and physical space needs. Reviews CAD drawings, updates, and/or changes.
  • Documents findings, conclusions and communicates recommendations based on data analysis and supply/demand assessment.
  • Reports to client and service delivery partners upon critical success factors, work environment and delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or five years’ work experience in 2 or more of the following: a) occupancy/space planning, b) facilities planning, c) facility maintenance planning d) project participation in relation to commercial office, manufacturing and/or lab environments.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a corporate environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills, presentation skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Create reports and deliverable text clearly and comprehensibly
  • Ability to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
  • Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  • Possess working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems, and relational database functionality
  • Can work well independently, under pressure and the ability to think on your feet
  • High level of customer service Proficiency in reading architectural drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite software applications IWMS/CAFM database knowledge a plus
