Qualifications:
The Maintenance Mechanic ensures that Production Equipment is kept in good repair and working order as well as in constant production mode at all times. We offer competitive compensation with an hourly pay rate based on skills and experience. We offer a clean, cool working environment in most areas of our facility. Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field OR 3 yrs. equivalent work experience Basic working knowledge of several types of pumps, conveying systems and other various types of machinery (process and high-speed packaging equipment). Strong troubleshooting skills is required. Must successfully complete Mechanical Maintenance Skills Assessment.



Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and make repairs to several types of pumps, conveying systems and other several types of machinery (process and highspeed packaging equipment) as necessary with minimal down time. Perform preventive maintenance as necessary to ensure proper and efficient operation of plant equipment. Collaborates with others within and outside of the functional area to perform maintenance and resolve upset conditions. Works as a team member to provide necessary support throughout the work shift as needed. Utilize available resources (associates, manuals, training department, policies, etc.) to determine and identify the root cause of upset conditions and take appropriate correction actions. Review equipment manuals and other resources to become proficient and maintain knowledge of operational equipment and perform maintenance. (Reviewing equipment manuals is a must). Ensure safeguards of plant equipment are installed as required to conform to all regulations, company, state and federal.
