Schedule: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Day shift. Work two days, off two days, work three.

Overview: This job is responsible for ensuring all shipping /receiving materials are inventoried properly and prepared for internal and external customers. Materials employees accomplish these goals through the following activates: (1) Performing all tasks in a SHE responsible manner; (2) Completing accurate documentation and maintain correct inventory of items.

Job Content:

1. Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility

2. Use of Company vehicles (to include forklifts) and equipment to load/unload and transport materials in a safe manner.

3. Complete accurate documentation and maintain correct inventory of items; adhering to GMP practices and paperwork requirements.

4. Repackage and preparation of materials for use in production areas, may involve converting measurements between standard and metric versions.

5. Transfer of materials to and from rail cars, attach flanges and couplings to prepare cars for use and break down for return, which requires bending, stooping, and crawling under rail cars.

6. Transfer of materials to and from road tankers and rail cars, which requires climbing vertical ladders to perform various tasks on top of rail cars and over the road tankers.

7. Transfer of materials to and from freezer areas, which requires working in extremely cold environment, as cold as -20o Fahrenheit.

8. Maintain orderly and clean work area; perform housekeeping duties.
9. Ensure Quality procedures, Management Directives and Quality.

10. Report any quality deviations or non-conformances that you observe.

11. Support routine Quality talks/briefings with staff to raise Quality awareness (for those with direct reports)

12. Has the authority to intervene in the event of a quality or safety protocol concern

13. Making boxes to keep the pouch room and RBD dock areas supplied.

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour (Due to schedule, you'll get guaranteed OT every other week)
