Qualifications:
2 years of demonstrated laboratory experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - word, excel and powerpoint.
 - Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
- Comfortable and able to work with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
 - The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
 • Minimum H.S. Diploma I Technical Training Certificate or Associate's Degree..
 BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities:
Technician will test developmental and standard products in an IS017025 accredited lab to standard test methods. We will use the data generated from these tests to support the development and sale of new global products. • Coordinate testing with guidance from senior engineering staff. Contribute to planning new experiments/tests • Participates in developing new and modified adhesive and sealant products. Communicates laboratory capabilities, constraints, and experimental results in a clear and consistent manner on a cross functional team.
 • Assists in the creation of practical test plans for the evaluation of products. Manages a variety of projects providing data and technical reports to internal and external customers in a timely fashion.
 • Learn and use technical expertise in a variety of adhesive technologies, testing methods and dispensing techniques. Deliver high quality, consistent results.
• Programming of robots, comfortable with a variety of curing and dispensing equipment
. • Reporting of laboratory results and methods according to 1SO 17025 format; results, reports and observations will be communicated to internal/external customers
. • Understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques relevant to adhesive product testing
. • Development of new and modified test methods. Capable of adjusting known techniques and methods to meet new customer needs.
