Contract Term: 1 year
Schedule: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $20.18/hour
Screenings: Background and drug screening prior to start date

  • Process payments in electronic systems, recording information in multiple systems.
  • Review incoming applications and payment forms for completeness and correctness.
  • Forms include technical drawings, regulatory information, legal contracts, and billing information.
  • Investigate information in multiple software systems to ensure application and payment information is correct.
  • Must learn proprietary software systems developed for the application process and the billing system.
  • Ensure the process is followed correctly for all electronic applications.
  • Engage customers and external contractors to request missing information, incomplete forms, or invalid requests.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service when engaging customers and external contractors.
  • Coordinate activities leading to the successful completion of customer generation projects including application review and permission to operate authorization.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities associated with the processes required to review and authorize a customer’s permission to operate.
  • Follow all company policies on information security and protecting customer privacy.
  • Assist the Customer Generation team on distributed generation projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Associates degree or equivalent required.
  • Intermediate PC skills with working knowledge of internet browsers, Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate with others, including customers, in a businesslike and professional manner, consistent with best practices and applicable regulations.
  • Must work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with understanding regulatory rules, utility standards and other work necessary to complete job functions to an excellent standard.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to perform the same review and analysis tasks for long periods of time.
