Plant Environment:
·         Bakery plant, breads, sweet dough
·         130 associates
·         Less than 10%
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications or any combination of knowledge, skills and experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the job:
• 8-plus years of progressive HR management experience
• Bachelor's degree in human resources business or related field of study
• PHR/SHRM-CP or related certification preferred
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal employment laws and incorporating into policies, procedures and practices
• Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing software is a plus
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Key Indicators of Success
·         This is a Union Facility. It is critical to have union experience.
·         Bilingual highly preferred
·         Need Manufacturing Experience
o    Chemical and Automotive Plant experience is highly transferrable
·         Candidate needs to be flexible, amendable, need to understand how to present material/business cases through different strategies to achieve success
·         Strong voice, need to stand up for yourself, but also pick your battles
·         People experience, mentorship, conflict resolution, door is always open attitude but will also be part of the plant leadership team, so wearing many hats.  
·         Need majority of experience to be in California due to complexity of labor laws.
·         Talent Acquisition is a crucial ability for success in this role
Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 annually.
