Outside Sales Representative [Raleigh, NC.]

On-Board PMO is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for our client in Raleigh, NC. We are looking for competitive outside sales representatives to develop and maintain key sales strategies and attract new clients in the Raleigh, Durham, and surrounding areas.
As an outside sales representative, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing new sales opportunities to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will also play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, researching sales competition, and managing sales of products and services.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience (preferably in construction)
  • Polished sales professional. Communication and professionalism must be exemplified at all times.
  • Must be a driven – self-starter type who is motived through success and breaking down barriers.
  • Must be willing to pick up the phone and develop business and relationships.
  • Proven track record of developing new accounts and new business revenue.
  • Strong prospecting and lead development, with proven success moving prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Proficient in word, excel and power point.
  • Ability to develop research based sales presentations with client benefits.
  • Excellent organizational skills, must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Active in community and industry related events.
  • Relationship skills with the proven ability to build trust with clients.

Preferred:
  • Outside sales experience in heavy/highway construction, asphalt/concrete rehabilitation of commercial projects.
  • General knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
  • Expert in "getting past the gate keeper” who can open the doors
