Project Manager [Raleigh, NC]
On-Board Companies is hiring a full-time Project Manager for our client in Raleigh, NC. For this position, you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial performance of various construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates plans and supervises field staff, including subcontractors.
  • Coordinates, supervises, and over sees all aspects of contractor's quality control.
  • Responsible for timely completion of project (profit/loss)
  • Responsible for maintaining project safety standards and reporting all safety violations
  • Accurately report project costs and maintain good record keeping
  • Develops and trains employees for further advancement.
  • Creates, maintains, and reviews project schedule throughout the duration.
  • Initiates & manages all change order pricing.
  • Responsible for ensuring all field personnel meet budgetary requirements and project goals.
  • Communicates with other PM's and Construction Managers to coordinate resources for overall company scheduling.
  • Various administrative duties such as filing, scanning, copying and other office errands as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • 5 + years' experience in asphalt, concrete, highway construction, rehabilitation of commercial projects
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
  • Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills
  • Maintain ability to work in high production environment
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership decision-making skills
  • Maintain professional accuracy at all times.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successfully pass background/drug screening
  • Must be willing to travel
