Location: Pico Rivera, CA 
Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $20.44/hour
Screenings: Background and drug screening prior to start date

Responsibilities:
  • Processes several electronic files in the department's interface program (M5) including; parts invoices generated from garage orders, vehicle inspection checklists, commercial driver's license training and certification tracking, employee time tracking and data entries, entry of Dispatch service calls, etc. 
  • Reconciles bills, cost reports and purchase orders. Uses business applications software including spreadsheets, databases and presentation graphics, etc. 
  • Performs basic mathematical calculations and checks data for mathematical errors. Researches and compiles information and data for analysis. 
  • Composes correspondence and reports for supervisor's signature.
  • Performs general administrative and clerical functions including word processing or typing of letters, memoranda and forms, ordering supplies, maintaining files, answering telephones, scheduling appointments and conferences, making travel arrangements, greeting visitors, and sorting mail. 
  • Creates graphs and spreadsheets. 
  • Checks and corrects reports and memoranda for grammatical and spelling errors. 
  • May maintain budget, expense accounts and other financial records. Operates copy and fax machines. 
  • Follows established safety procedures. 
  • Performs various other equivalent functions or lower grade functions as assigned. 
  • This temporary support will primarily assist in the processing of backlog work in the M5 system along with other critical responsibilities performed by Support Services Clerks.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • One to two years of clerical experience desired. 
  • Must be a qualified typist (50 + wpm). 
  • Must have knowledge of business application software including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Knowledge of basic math and the ability to operate a calculator is required. 
  • Must be able to operate a computer and peripheral equipment for word processing. 
  • Must have solid computer experience, including word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, etc.
