On Board Services, a Family-Owned U.S. Based Professional Staffing and Search Firm, is assisting one of the largest chemical companies with a search for a IT Infrastructure Technician ( Help Desk Tech)

Hiring Contract IT Infrastructure Technician (Help Desk Tech)
Duration: 12 Month Assignment
Client Location: Fortune 500 Company in Belle,  West Virginia
Work Schedule: 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $20 to $25 /per hour

The client facility located in Belle West Virginia has a Desktop Technician position available.  This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Information Technology function. This position will report to Global End User Computing Leader.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Inventory management, installation, deployment, break-fix (HW and SW), asset return and end of life management
  • Second Level dispatched and escalated support with walk-up support (in-person)
  • Remote support via MSRA
  • Knowledge base maintenance
  • EZVista ticketing management when tickets are assigned
  • Training and education
  • Customer ambassador – ensuring customers' needs are resolved to satisfaction
  • Support Escalation of issues to vendors, services, and key site contacts
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in supporting enterprise level PCs
  • Excellent customer service, communication, collaboration, and team skills
  • Experience in remote troubleshooting and repair
  • Working proficiency of Windows 10 environment
  • Working proficiency of Office 365
  • Experience supporting Local Area Networks (Basic connectivity & Troubleshooting)
  • Experience supporting Windows Servers (Basic administration & Troubleshooting)

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
  • Experience with PC Imaging processes, preferably in SCCM
  • Working experience with scripting in Powershell, WMIC, CMD
  • Dell certified technician
  • Experience with Cisco Technologies and Solutions
