Job Description, Required Skills, Education, Experience:
Manages and oversees project controls for critical builds. Responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality reviews. Manages project controls personnel. Establishes operating policies to mitigate risk. Provides guidance and consultation for project managers. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Platform Director.

Ability to create work breakdown structure (WBS) and time lines with customer milestones/deliverables used as the foundation. Timeline and related timing documents (e.g., prototype schedules, order matrices, build support plans) are consistent and efficient and utilized to clearly communicate deliverables and due dates. 

Provides cross-functional leadership for sample build coordination and shipments, taking into account requirements to ensure on-time, quality products (e.g., deviation authorization, quality controls, functional buy-offs, material controls, adherence to budgets, etc.). Facilitates meetings to ensure internal/external (supplier) alignment and execution. 

Preferred Skills, Education, Experience:
Technical Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent degree based on regional education system). 
Five (5) years working experience in one or more of the following areas: Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance. Three (3) years management experience in one or more of the following areas: Program Management, Engineering Management, Manufacturing Management, Quality Management. Demonstrated leadership experience.

Five (5) years of working experience in the Automotive Industry including at least one vehicle launch. Demonstrated knowledge of automotive design/launch process. Working knowledge of Program Management process and tools. Problem solving and negotiation experience desired. 

Pay Rate: $56 per hour based upon qualifications
