The Assembler must be capable of learning and performing job duties as trained. Understand and follow our Quality Systems Policies, Manufacturing Polices Procedures and Job Standards as required to build quality medical devices.

This is a 1 year contract role. Rate of pay $13.64/hour.

  • Capable of completing written records of manufacturing operations on production documentation followingappropriate training. i.e. Device History Records, Data Sheets and Lot Control.
  • Capable of positioning parts according to the unit being assembled by following written procedures and or drawings at or above the quantity standard rate projected by their assigned supervisor or lead.
  • As production needs require, cross train on different production lines departments as instructed by their assigned supervisor or lead.
  • Inform lead, supervisor or Assembler III of material shortages.
  • Participate as needed in LEAN or TPS activities.
  • Identifies and suggest areas of improvement that strive towards a continuous improved quality organization.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following and practicing good housekeeping and safety guidelines policies. e.g. ergonomics, job rotation, stretching exercises and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime and varying shifts as needed.
  • Uses time effectively and constructively, does not engage in idle conversation that disrupts others and or the assigned operation, stays in the work area and does not abuse break times.
  • Assembly may be in clean rooms, and may involve assembly of miniature components under a microscope.
  • Assemble components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.
  • All other Essential Duties as directed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 or more months of previous medical device assembly experience.
  • Must have basic written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members, understand verbal instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions.
  • Knowledge of GDP, GMP and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience working under a microscope for hours at a time, experience working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Read/write/comprehend English, basic math skills.
