Administrative Assistant Needed

On-Board Services, a Family-Owned U.S. Based Professional Staffing and Search Firm, is in search for a Administrative Assistant for a Leading Medical Technology Company that manufactures and sells medical devices, instrument systems, and reagents Fortune 500 Client in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This is a 3 month contract role.

The Administrative Assistant will be reporting directly to the WW R&D VP, performing administrative duties for R&D leaders and their staffs.

Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417
  • Schedules and coordinates all aspects of meetings as necessary. This may include arranging for catering services, audio/visual services and agenda preparation.
  • Attendance at and participation in some of these meetings may be necessary as well.
  • Responsible for handling needs and concerns that may arise within the department such as computer related issues, corporate cards, maintain department supplies, new hires, etc.
  • Coordinates orientation of new department hires to ensure training is obtained per department requirements.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be responsible, conscientious and decisive.
  • Decisions such as handling situations, seeking supervision or appropriate referral frequently need to be made.
  • Must show initiative, good judgment and the ability to assume responsibility, maintain confidentiality, set priorities, make decisions and suggest improved methods and procedures.
  • Accuracy in all output is imperative.
  • Errors in work output could have an impact internally on R&D budget decisions, and credibility and externally in compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements. 
Qualifications/Must have Experience:
  • Must have at last high school diploma or GED
  • 2 Years’ experience working in administrative role.
