Qualifications:
Responsibilities
• Prepare compositional formulas and exposure tables for tox assessment
 o Collect, appropriately sort and format formula compositions for toxicological assessment
o Work with regulatory affairs specialists to identify and resolve discrepancies
 o Format exposure assessment tables based on exposure models from toxicologist
 • Safety assessment support
o Convert assessments into templates by product type
o Verify accuracy of ingredient disclosures with those on-pack o Collaborate with marketing to input labels, current language and product information into assessments
• Documentation
 o Update and maintain toxicological assessment inventory
o Prepare, refine and sort substance values, citing reference sources from toxicologist o Identify and communicate discrepancies
• Support Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and ingredient disclosure
 o Collect and review raw material and formula data
 o Look up raw material information in SAP for formula compositions
 o Review and check formula data, communicate discrepancies and facilitate information gathering
o Work with regulatory affairs specialist to finalize and publish documents
 o Document and maintain retailer SDS and ingredient disclosures
• Project tracking and documentation
o Prepare, sort and monitor documentation for raw materials and formulas
o Support data documentation
 o Assist in tracking status of project reviews



Responsibilities:
Education
 • Bachelor’s degree; degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field, preferred
 
Experience • Solid understanding of chemical naming conventions
 • General awareness of reg./safety role in consumer products companies
 • Familiarity with handling confidential data
• Overall computer literacy
• Knowledge of the following software programs o SAP, specifically PLM o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word and SharePoint with advanced knowledge and expertise in Excel Skills
 • Works independently and monitors own work to ensure quality
• Detail oriented • Self-motivated; will ask questions and seek clarity, when necessary
 • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with time constrains
 • Strong problem solver and logical thinker • Excellent reading comprehension, written and oral communication skills.
