Business Process Analyst
Entry or developmental level position providing telecommunications circuit ordering support.
 
Contract Duration: 1 year
 
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
 
Location:  Richmond, Virginia
 
Overview:
On-Board Services, a Family-Owned U.S. Based Professional Staffing and Search Firm, is assisting  one of the nation’s largest producers and transporters of energy.
The On-Board Family of Companies conducts operations through its Corporate Headquarters located in East Windsor, New Jersey along with Regional Offices in New Castle, Delaware, and Raleigh, North Carolina. 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications circuits including – Ethernet, MPLS, DS0, DS1, DS3, PRI, POTS, Telecommunication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, Power Point and Visio.
  • Ability to multi-task and be effective in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to proactively manage 40+ assignments / telecommunications leased circuit orders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop project management skills and to handle multiple tasks. Strong customer service orientation
 
Responsibility
  • Under direction of supervisor place orders for new leased telecommunications circuits and place orders for changes or disconnection of leased circuits.
  • Manage to completion circuit orders.
  • Update circuit documentation in various tracking systems.
  • Review billing and accounting issues.
  • Order, track and coordinate Telco special construction projects.
  • Coordinate installation of Telco service entrance cable.
