Manufacturing/Maintenance Scheduler

The Manufacturing/Maintenance Scheduler, independently and as part of a team, providing Manufacturing and Maintenance scheduling of process rooms and equipment within a pharmaceutical R&D environment.

This is a 6 month contract role. 

Rate of Pay:

Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM 

  • Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company and client directives related to building operations ,work safety, GxP manufacturing.
  • Performs assigned day-to-day tasks as required.
  • Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
  • Reviews assigned work orders.
  • Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
  • Ability to support in cleaning of process equipment as needed.
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
  • May require valid driver's license.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Possess good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to respond to numerous inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
  • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
  • Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
  • Requires good analytical skills.
  • Uses personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training.
  • Competent skills with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
