The Inventory Analyst conducts budgeting and forecasting for all aspects of the loaner and demo equipment pool to include: demo additions, replacement of beyond economical repair items, repair costs, accessories, refurbishment for used sales, and other areas as needed.

This is a 1 year contract role. 

  • Coordinate repairs for all divisions of Asset Management.
  • This includes working with RA QA and the various repair facilities.
  • Work with Internal Audit, Field Audit, and Compliance to ensure that all procedures and policies are being followed in regards write offs, asset retrieval, and many other facets of the business. This includes assisting with the reconciliation of Sales Reps inventory.
  • Performs analysis of safety stock levels for current demo and loaner pools and adjusts as required to optimize levels based on criteria of minimizing carrying costs and stock outs.
  • Research and correcting discrepancies in physical inventory ranging from incorrect stock levels, duplicate items, invalid serial numbers, etc that requires extensive research and documentation.
  • Coordinates smooth transition of new product introduction by working with Product Managers to deplete stock of old products and coordinating with Inventory Planning for ramping up stock of new product prior to the launch date in order to maintain optimal level of inventory.
  • Perform research, execution, and follow up of write offs to include destruction orders, Field destruction, and other transactions as needed.
  • Perform weekly monthly analysis reports of various aspects of the loaner and demo pool that includes customer backorders by item, asset retrieval results, evaluations past due, write off summary, competitor trade orders and other reports as needed.
  • Bachelors degree with a business concentration or equivalent knowledge required.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to design and run reporting language queries programs, preferably utilizing SAP.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.
  • Must work well independently.
  • SQL Experience recommended but not required.
