POSITION SUMMARY
 
The Customer Service Representative interacts with customers primarily by email and telephone to provide information, respond to inquiries and resolve customer concerns. Incumbent takes ownership of customer inquiries and problems, must understand product lines, and internal databases.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Opens and accurately maintains customer accounts by recording and updating account information
  • Resolves any client issues by diagnosing the problem, selecting appropriate course of action, and following up to ensure resolution of issue.
  • Accurate data entry, monitors day to day open/back order reports.
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships
  • Have high level of attention to detail.
  • Work with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Has understanding of customer service in a production environment
  • Routes calls to appropriate department if not able to answer customer's inquiry.
  • Utilizes SalesForce.com to capture complaint entries, price requests, call reports and conducts informational searches
  • Performs any additional tasks required by department leads.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma
  • Two years of customer service or call center related experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Business to business customer service phone experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills
  • Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills
  • Team player
  • Experience using of Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows; SAP experience preferred
