Hiring a Contract Biomedical R&D engineer
Duration:  8 month
Client Location:  Andover, MA
Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday / 40 Hours Weekly
Pay Rate:  $25 Hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES: •Development and execution of testing protocols: Support exploratory testing to define test equipment, test fixtures, and test methods development; Participate in training, test methods validation, and execution of testing as needed •Effective Documentation and communication of test results: Write engineering test reports and route them for approval in DHF. •Design of experiments activities, including for characterization, prototype testing, failure analysis and qualification. •Support the deployment and evaluation of integrated systems in pre-clinical and clinical studies

Qualification
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: •B.S. in Engineering (BME, ME Preferred) •A minimum of 1 year experience working in an engineering lab KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Familiarity interdisciplinary systems, including electromechanical and electronic systems •Familiarity with SolidWorks, LabVIEW, Matlab and Minitab is a plus. •Proficiency in soldering small components and the use of tools like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, power supply etc is desirable •An understanding of PC based tools for testing embedded hardware is desirable
