JOB DESCRIPTION:  On Board PMO SITE MANAGER
Job Specific Roles
  • This position is responsible for the overall performance of OBPMO site personnel and customer satisfaction as it relates to safety, human relations, quality, and operations.
  • Provides vision and leadership for fiscal planning to ensure continuity and solvency of site operations.
  • Establishes annual budgets and site performance metrics.
  • Manages policy creation and deployment for the site in respect to safety, human resources, and operations.
  • Oversees and ensures that safety standards are met and enforced by all personnel across the site.
  • Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Builds company image through collaboration with customers, government agencies, and employees.
  • Provides effective leadership and oversees all continuous improvement efforts.
  • Practical knowledge of the following applications: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Kaizen, 5s's, JIT, etc.
 
Safety
  • Safety is the #1 Job Priority at all times.
  • Recognize and correct safety problems/issues/deficiencies as observed.
  • Knoledge of OSHA 1910 and other best safety practices
 
Quality
  • Quality of product ranks 2nd only to safety.
  • Create a proactive quality improvement culture.  Utilize any quality issues as an opportunity, determine the core problem and implement a corrective action.

Environmental
  • Enforce sanitation regulations.
  • Knowledge of waste disposal OD's and designated locations.
  • Follow proper recycling procedures.
 
Daily Tasks
  • Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Manages customer relationships and expectations across the site.
  • Enforces corporate policies and ethical standards for all site personnel.
  • Determines site Client requirements and manages recruitment activities as needed.
  • Manages the performance of the company's staff and front-line leadership through goal setting and performance metrics.
  • Develops action items and directs process improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Balances work cell capacity across the site.
  • Directs frontline supervision in respect to safety performance, Client, employee relations, cost-control, quality, and productivity. 
  • Communicates regularly with all levels of OBPMO personnel through formal meetings and other informal means.
  • Reinforces safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improves morale.
  • Assists the OBPMO leadership team in the development of formal policies and procedures to improve company efficiency and risk management.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to team members (Administration, Supervisors, Lead Operators, and hourly staff) and assists with annual p evaluations.
  • Facilitates effective sharing of information across shifts, departments, and the organization as a whole.  Creates an atmosphere of awareness, engagement, and commitment to zero.
  • Collaborates with hourly team members, shift leads, other supervisors, and OBPMO administration to solve work-related problems.
  • Provides leadership for problem resolution and improved working relations.
  • Presents periodic performance reports to customer representatives and primary contractors.
  • ECO Head counting during all Fume and Fire Alarms.
  • Ensures the building of mutual trust, respect, and cooperation across the organization.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience managing a workforce of 100+.
  • Must be able to lift up to 55lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs continuously.
  • Must be able to be on feet constantly.
  • Performing General Physical Activities — performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and handling of materials.
  • Capacities to read, comprehend, and refer to Operator Directions, either as a physical document or in electronic form.
  • Proficient computer skills.
