Contract Term: 12 Months
Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour - $27.00/hour

Screenings: Background and Drug Screenings prior to start date

  • Utilize third party extension within ArcGIS software to manage high pressure pipeline centerline location and maintain pipeline feature attributes with linear referencing according to data editing standards and procedures.
  • Review existing high pressure pipeline data and GIS data update requests for accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Work closely with peer teams in GIS Management for resolving update requests.
  • Utilize various company enterprise information systems (PDMS, MAXIMO, SAP, WOT, EGIS, etc.) for tracking work, fulfilling update requests, and retrieving work order documents and engineering drawings.
  • Perform minimal administrative duties such as copying, typing, and filing to organize pipeline facility update requests.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental science, Computer Science or other related field.
  • Associate’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental science, Computer Science or other related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years full-time hands-on experience in ESRI ArcGIS Desktop may be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree.
  • One to two years of experience working with ArcGIS Desktop
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings (as-built, schematics, dimensioning), legacy company maps (Atlas Sheets, Strip Maps, and Intersection Drawings), aerial imagery, and feature studies.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Basic understanding of relational database concepts and functionality (joins, relates, types of relationships).
  • Must have good attention to detail in order to properly maintain and enter data in a GIS database.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate, both orally and written, technical and non-technical information.
