Description:


The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with other members of the Talent Acquisition team, Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers to support a variety of US talent acquisition activities, including the following: 
• Develop effective relationships with HR team and hiring managers for assigned lines of business, which include Sales & Marketing and Security & Connectivity
• Engage business leaders and HR to understand the business direction and staffing strategy – influence thinking on staffing and leverage understanding to inform yearly/multi-year talent pipelining 
• Develop proactive and creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent and create pipelines for critical skill areas
• Manage full cycle recruiting process to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all candidates– including candidate management, resume reviews, phone screens, interviews and offer negotiations 
• Build HR and hiring manager capability and shared ownership for recruiting at NXP 
• Provide regular, data-driven status updates on the progress of assigned requisitions and projects
• Partner with Compensation team to review, analyze and make recommendations for candidate salaries and compensation packages
• Drive process simplification and systems and tools refinement – with the global TA team – to ensure NXP’s recruiting process remains complete, nimble, and creates the right experience for candidates, hiring managers, HR and recruiters across the globe
• Partner with global Talent Acquisition, University Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion teams to identify key requirements for each organization and proactively search for the best diverse talent
• Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external hiring events and other talent acquisition projects, as needed
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and maintain strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related discipline
• Minimum of five years recruiting experience in a corporate recruiting or agency environment servicing semiconductor, technology or software industries
• A high level of interest in driving success of all talent acquisition activities 
• Documented experience of exceeding customer expectations in a demanding hiring environment
• Able to effectively manage multiple client and partner relationships and expectations at different levels of the organization
• Strong research background required including knowledge of the following: internet research, patent and publication research, industry forum investigation, candidate networking, competitor mapping, direct research & creative sourcing strategies, etc.
• Previous experience using an ATS (Workday, Taleo and PeopleFluent)
• Technology (hardware, software, process, device, design, etc.) industry knowledge, preferably in semiconductor, is required 
• Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills required
