Job Description:
We are currently looking for an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Engineer to be an integral part of the IT team for one of our strategic accounts.

This is a challenging position and we are only looking for those that are highly motivated to learn, grow and keep pace in an ever-changing environment. 

Scope of Services
Application Services is in search of an Integration Architect to play a key role in assisting the Office of Information Technology in the establishment of new integration methods and standards, along with implementing system integrations, according to those established methods and standards.

General responsibilities may include the following:
  1. Develop and deploy integrated solutions aimed at modernization, consolidation, and coordination of independently designed applications within and across the enterprises.
  2. Develop requirements for new and emerging enterprise technologies.
  3. Determine how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, and web interfaces work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements.
  4. Develop methods to efficiently reuse existing components.
  5. Work with users to gather business requirements, perform database analysis, and code and test middleware routines to ensure successful communication among the various IT systems and application components.
  6. Participate in component and data architecture design, software product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or another related field.
  • 4 Years of experience can substitute for a college degree.

  • 5 – 7 years as a software developer, architect, or development manager is required
  • 5 – 7 years of experience working with development technologies including Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/WebAPI, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Durandal, Knockout, etc.), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS is highly desired
  • 7 – 10 years of professional experience in Information Systems or another related field is required

Primary Job Duties/ Tasks
The activities this candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. Provide architectural guidance and oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging and production environments.
  2. Provide hands-on support to peers; coach, guide and mentor others in accomplishing architecture, design, and implementation goals
  3. Drive continuous improvement, which includes design, definition of roadmaps, standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation.
  4. Design and implement integrations utilizing batch jobs, RESTful APIs, and service bus technologies.
