Position: Security Analyst II
Location: Southside, Pittsburgh, PA
Experience Required: 3-5 years

Job Description:
  • Develops and manages security for more than one IT security area across the enterprise.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of security procedures.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and tracking of security relevant events.
  • Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles, reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions, updates and maintains the documented security controls.

Required:
  • Experience in an enterprise IT security environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with management, end customers and project team members
  • Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and with a wide variety of technical resources
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Experience implementing or working with a Risk Management Framework

Areas of Expertise:
  • Risk Management:1 - 2 Years
  • Software Skills: MS Office: 2 - 4 Years
  • Technical Skills: PC Technical Knowledge: 2 - 4 Years

Preferred
  • Experience maintaining an Enterprise Information System in compliance with the Risk Management Framework as outlined in NIST SP 800-37 Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems
  • Experience working with the NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems
  • Experience with RSA Archer -CISSP Certification -CAP Certification

Top 5 skills the manager is looking for in a candidate:
  1. Experience with a Cybersecurity Framework
  2. Strong tech background outside of just compliance
  3. Developer or ICS experience (Even better if both – might be hard to find)
  4. Strong Written Communication Skills
  5. Strong Verbal Communication Skills

Most of the candidates experience have been either all Cyber Compliance or Cyber Compliance and Ops. The manager is looking to find someone who also has some programming or ICS experience.
