Serve as Project Associate for the company's Government Reporting –Transparency team, focusing specifically on US Sunshine and several US State HCP spend transparency requirements.
This role will: (i) conduct monitoring activities and audits of various company records to comply with US Sunshine and state transparency requirements, (ii) execute against a detailed project plan for monitoring and auditing activities, (iii) assist with remediation activities related to findings and allegations of non-compliance with Company policy, and (iv) assist with the preparation of government reports in a form that is standard with the regulatory requirements.

Job Role:

• Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of: industry regulations and guidelines, policies, procedures, guidelines, and local/state/federal laws impacting transparency
• Work with Line of Business stakeholders in management of the Sunshine and state filings
• Execute on the Government Reporting Transparency Project Plan
• Specifically, perform comprehensive reviews of expense reports, consulting contracts and fees, speaker programs, and other relevant records and documentation
• Review and follow-up on suspected areas of non-compliance of Novo Nordisk policies and procedures or of legal or compliance requirements as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 4+ years overall pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is required
• Compliance auditing and/or monitoring experience in the Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is preferred
• Must possess general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines (e.g. PhRMA Code, Sunshine, Federal Anti-Kickback etc.)
• Must possess a general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and/or product related practices
• Experience working with US Sunshine Transparency preferred
• Strong organizational skills - ability to multi-task, provide status updates and proactively follow up
• Sound judgment and confidential and ethical decision making required
• High degree of professionalism with excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) skills required
• Requires ability to be detailed oriented, quickly learn and offer solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently or with limited supervision on a variety of activities and projects
