Job Summary
Description This role requires an experienced Product Manager responsible for 1) driving eDiscovery Services strategy and 2) identifying and enabling a competitive set of Services through successful project leadership.  The Product Manager will oversee delivery to ensure it meets content and quality standards, schedule, and budget guidelines. This role requires understanding of the EDRM Model and its workflow, as well as high-level technical knowledge of eDiscovery components and applications. Individuals must be able to
·        Align / drive tactical initiatives to eDiscovery Strategy
·        Identify / manage applications aligned EDRM phases
·        Maintain ongoing cross-functional communications and interact with Business Partners and stakeholders.
·        Provide oversight in eDiscovery methods and tools (e.g., NUIX, Relativity)
·        Ensure quality assurance across IT components / tools supporting EDRM
Candidates must have a track record for stakeholder relationship management to successfully lead / manage project managers, a cross-functional product team and product stakeholders. They must demonstrate drive, energy, and ability to think dynamically.
Location US-based.
 
Desired Competencies (Business/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have The Product Manager should have a track record for managing a complex and diverse portfolio of applications, supported by various vendors and internal IT units. The successful candidate will be IT savvy with a track record for leading products delivering client business solutions. The candidate will have:  
·        Ability to relate to the customer functions and applications / technologies across the EDRM workflow.
·        IT experience in applications and/or infrastructure.
·        Ability to oversee and drive changes in eDiscovery applications and technology landscape with IT and vendor partners
o        Experience in managing application partners, such as Nuix; Relativity
o        Experience in joint decision making with Application Vendors to ensure up-to-date software and uninterrupted support.
·        Ability to envision top-down application strategy – including competitive positioning, to set priorities and drive specific initiatives.  
o        Interact with Partners/ Engagement Team to set priorities for new eDiscovery and data management capabilities and applications by clients.
o        Interact with IT, and drive support teams to establish priorities, define requirements and coordinate delivery and support.
o        Monitor service performance and make course adjustments.
·        Experience in managing service components requiring efficient access to massive data stores.
·        Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·        Good technical / infrastructure background preferred.
·        Willingness to roll-up sleeves and jump in, if necessary.
Good-to-Have Command of eDiscovery applications and technology, a plus
 
# Responsibilities of / Expectations from the Role (Product Manager)
1 Successfully oversee Service / products priorities to agreed schedule, budget and scope – the baseline. Plan products based on a defined need; track and report on variances to the approved product baseline. Work within defined governance.
2 Perform relevant product management functions while ensuring on-going communication and stakeholder management
·        Manage product work /resources, including Project Managers and Business Analyst, to enable timely completion.
·        Deliver the product to acceptance criteria
·        Interface / communicate with team, management and stakeholders
·        Participate in design review and solution walk-throughs to validate proposed solutions. Communication pros / cons of systems designs to non-IT stakeholders and ensure quality IT standards at met.
3 Assess risks across alternative solutions; set and communicate final priorities across competing business demands.
4 Performs gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with all aspects of IT organization and business sponsors
5 Plan and manage change – in process and within eDiscovery services
6 Manage external vendors and suppliers
·        Oversee contract compliance where required
·        Establish standard process
