  1. performance analysis, tuning, upgrading, patch maintenance, license management, system backup administration on RHEL 5,6,7 and also basics of AIX administration
  2. User account/environment administration, implementing and maintaining system security, VM storage manipulation, and assisting with software installations.
  3. Candidate should have a minimum of six years of experience in Linux system administration and handle a team of admins.
  4. Candidate should be self-motivated and will set forth and follow standard processes, plan effectively so the team can complete tasks on schedule, and clearly document processes and results.
  5. Hands on experience in patching and periodic updates of the RHEL servers using RH satellite server
  6. Shell scripting knowledge required.
  7. OS installation, tuning and troubleshooting
  8. Knowledge of VMware is a Must
  9. Experience of working on and managing complex technical systems and environments.
  10. Knowledge on Client Hardware blades (C7000  ,G8-9- and latest)
  11. Monitor the team while they perform the following activities like User administration (setup and maintaining account),
  12. Maintaining system, monitor system performance, Create file systems, Install software, Create a backup and recovery policy, Monitor network communication, Update system as soon as new version of OS and application software comes out, Password and identity management Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network
  13. Knowledge on DELL-QAS on Linux /AIX systems will have priority
  14. Scripting skills, should be able to read and understand the scripts (any language is fine)
  15. Setup security policies. Must have a strong grasp of computer security (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems)
  16. Guiding the L1/l2 associates located in India and Mexico for better operations support
Qualifications:
1. Excellent written & Verbal communication
2. Experience on ITIL process and tools (Incident /Problem/Change)
3. Knowledge on BMC Remedy /ITSM or any ticketing tools
4. Ability to Lead a team.
5. Provide Capacity reports to Management on weekly basis for future planning's / Quarterly / Year end closing etc
