Role Description
Summary Looking for a Data loss prevention specialist focused on concentrates on the provisioning of security tools and services to internal client groups.
Tool development experience is essential to assist the global teams in developing and deploying technology solutions to automate tasks. An additional key component of this role is project based, with numerous activities to expand and enhance the services provided within the environment.
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
  • Experience with Data loss prevention (DLP) tool and technology
  • Symantec DLP Email and Network is must have
  • Experience on administrating and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux system
  • General Networking skill including but not limited to firewalls, routing, NAT, SI Model, packet trace and analysis knowledge
  • Experience on Transporter or Guardium products
  • Experience with tool development and deploying technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of Security infrastructure and hands on experience with providing stability using tools, policies and process.
  • Writing maintainable scripts with Perl and / or Python
  • Performance-tuning experience across networks, file-systems and applications
  • Database knowledge, SQL, Oracle, Operation Manager 2007
  • Familiarity with windows servers or Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Basic web development skills (HTML, JavaScript)
Responsibility / Expectations from the Role
1 Provide and Maintain security infrastructure, providing stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures that are available
2 Responsibility for the planning and controlled execution of releases into the managed environment
3 Improving the process by identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible
4 Troubleshooting and investigation skills, working on root cause analysis and techniques
5 Automation of tasks and enhance the service provided within DLP environment
6 Undertaking problem ownership and project planning
7 Should be adept at documenting requirements from a broad list of teams and posses a proven history of delivering projects in collaborative multi-team environments
