JOB TITLE:
Dojo Operations Manager

JOB DUTIES:
The Dojo Ops Manager is a leader that has business operations experience, project management skills, and knowledge of the IT environment. In this role, you will work closely with Dojo coaches and teams to transform the way they work, leveraging Agile, DevOps, and Cloud principles and practices by providing operational support. The role will operate in a "Dojo” environment and will manage the dojo process from end-to-end, constantly seeking to improve the way we work.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages and ensures execution of all activities associated with the dojo lifecycle - from identifying candidate teams through post-dojo tasks
• Owns & manages the overall dojo schedule, including teams in the dojo, as well as dojo staff members
• Manages the relationship between the dojo and local Global Real Estate contact
• With guidance, manages the local dojo budget
• Monitors the inventory of equipment in the dojo, and re-orders as necessary
• Organize the invite process, pre-planning and consultation with coaches and staff
• Maintain constant monitoring and feedback from participants during the Dojo experience, with a view to enhance and improve the Dojo experience through each new iteration
• Assist and coordinate local DevOps events intended to build community. Including Telecommunication DevOps Days, Town halls, Lunch-n-Learns, Meet and greets, etc.
• Gather marketing material for dojo experience, including pictures, quotes, etc.
• Be an evangelist of the dojo services
• Create/ Manage dojo documentation using collaboration and project tools such as Crowd Around, Jira / Confluence, HipChat, etc.
• Execute any work associated with the program to implement dojos, ensuring that timelines and deadlines will be met effectively

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or equivalent work exp.
