JOB TITLE: BRM Developer & Tester


The BRM Tester will be primarly responsible for the testing the releases of Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) application. This role will also be responsible for the hands-on configuration and administration of BRM including documentation.

• Document test cases based upon requirement document, use cases, design documents. Develop plan for integration testing, regression testing and performance testing.
• Automate test cases using test automation framework
• Maintain the test suite and Execute test cases on new builds
• Execute functional testing, integration testing and regression testing on BRM application.
• Troubleshoot issues found during QA
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Setup test environments and perform code deployment in all the non-production environments
• Develop shell scripts and SQL scripts as needed
• Perform requirements document and design document review
• Patriciate in code reviews
• Setup monitoring in BRM production to catch errors and issues pro-actively

• 4-6 years of experience with the testing of large scale BRM applications.
• 4-6 years' expertise in analysis and development which includes client needs analysis, installation, migration, configuration, integration and deployment of Oracle BRM
• Excellent understanding of BRM applications and its database structure.
• 2-3 years of experience in writing Shell scripts, perl scripts and PL/SQL scripts.
• Good understanding of Test Life Cycle and SDLC
• Good working knowledge of application integration and testing
• Proficiency in SQL and experience in SQL query writing. Knowledgeable in installing, configuring and tuning Oracle databases.
• Understanding of basics of BRM e.g. Opcodes. flist & BRM logs


- 2-3 years of experience of customizing large scale BRM applications.
