Administrator performs the installation, configuration, and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a WebSphere runtime environment, to include the design and implementation of infrastructure from specifications, configuration and deployment of applications, connecting to back-end resources, and advanced troubleshooting of moderately complex software applications. Deployment, administration and operational support of (production, staging, test and development) environments for multiple projects using WebSphere Application Server. Under general direction, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. Work with the development staff to determine project requirements for test/production environments. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications server activities. Keep current with emerging software enhancements, security patches and bug fixes. Monitor application server performance and respond appropriately. Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for system software applications. Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures, and provides Tier 2 technical support. Provides high level written communications such as white papers, decision documents, or research papers Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the environment to confirmed delivery for client and business notification. Position requires the candidate to be highly flexible in hours of work because of its customer-facing, highly available infrastructure necessity. Experience with Web-based applications, SOA (Services Oriented Architectures) and Web application servers ( BEA Weblogic, Websphere). Competency in relational database structures and SQL. 1 to 5 years of experience. JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer for RPA program JOB DUTIES: Candidate will be responsible for: 1. Monitoring bots running in production 24x7 and take corrective action 2. Work with onshore, offshore IT teams and business partners in testing bots 3. Manually trigger bots from Control Room. 4. Work with COE team for code deployments 5. Ensure all bots are running on schedule and updating metrics as expected 6. Database/SQL knowledge to run queries to troubleshooting and generating reports. 7. Build expertise in Automation Anywhere platform 8. Good working knowledge of Jira MUST HAVE SKILLS: 1. Day to day system monitoring and health check of bots. Understand thoroughly the end to end application support process and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support. 2. Manage production incident and deal with order flow issues 3. Work closely with IT and Business partners to process fall-outs 4. Support testing and implementation of various bots in test and production 5. Prepare and execute production changes 6. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 7. Ability to work with offshore teams 8. Working knowledge of incident tracking tools (i.e. Service Now, Remedy, Heat etc.) 9. Database/SQL/Stored procedures 10. Basic Java/C#/HTML5/JS programming skills Mid-range technologies, platforms, i.e.: UNIX, Oracle, shell scripting, MQ, Control M preferred. Knowledge, on UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, shell scripts, secure connectivity and protocols. 11. Track the implementation of resolution tasks 12. Provide regular and reliable reporting of relevant data to meet management requirements DESIRED SKILLS: 1. Working knowledge of Automation Anywhere 2. IT background including DevOps 3. Jira EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree REQUIRED SHIFT: Normal working hours 8 CT - 5 CT. Respond to production support alerts during off hours and weekends as needed.
